
Wellness classes take place at the Wiles Hill Community Center, 287 Eureka Drive, and are open to all
aged 55 and over. Pre-Registration is not required. All classes are drop-in.
Senior Center Membership required to attend ($15 per year).

Updates will be posted as they are received from instructors. Please note the following guideline before returning to class: A face covering must be worn to attend class and must be kept in place the entire time, participants must enter through the gymnasium door (not the main entrance), participants must use cash (exact change) or check to pay, participants should only bring items necessary for class into the building, and participants should exit the gymnasium immediately after class. WVU Exercise Physiology Interns- HAS NOT YET RESUMED
Senior status students from the WVU Exercise Physiology program partner with BOPARC at Wiles Hill to help our members achieve healthy goals. Upon request, the exercise physiology interns will complete health screenings including BMI, body fat, blood pressure, and a few quick fitness measures. The interns also staff our fitness facilities and can assist members with proper equipment usage and safety, develop a personalized training program, as well as guided exercise routines.
This individualized support and accountability can help you be your healthiest yet!
Senior Strength, Balance and Mobility Class- RESUMES SEPTEMBER 9th
$5 per person per class, Wednesdays- 10AM-11AM
Student interns also instruct fitness classes designed specifically for seniors!
This class uses resistance bands, and your own body weight to improve strength while focusing on balance and mobility. Modifications available for all levels. All materials are sanitized before and after use.
