TAEKWONDO
Taekwondo is an ancient martial art that is extremely effective in modern day self-defense but more importantly as a holistic tool to incorporate great virtues to develop a sound mind and body. The beauty of this martial art is that literally every part of a person’s mind and body need to be engaged in order to perform the traditional movements naturally and effortlessly. Taekwondo is unique martial art that transforms and develops a boy, girl, man or woman into a healthy and confident peaceful person that respects all things and displays dignity for all things. This Class focus is on balance and coordination, flexibility, strength, endurance and cardiopulmonary fitness but most essentially a tranquil mind that is focused, peaceful, disciplined and in self-control.
